Bail Mount for the Garmin Signal Marine VHF Radio Series
The Garmin Signal Marine VHF Bail Mount provides a secure surface-mount installation
option for the Garmin Signal VHF 400, VHF 220 and RM 100 remote station.
The included cradle supports the Garmin Signal unit above the mounting surface, while the side knobs
allow the display angle to be adjusted for better visibility and access. This installation method is
ideal when flush mounting is not practical or when the radio needs to be mounted on top of a console,
dashboard or other flat surface.

Flexible Surface-Mount Installation
The bail mount allows a compatible Garmin Signal radio or remote station to be installed without
cutting a full mounting opening into the helm. Only the mounting-hardware and cable-access openings
required for the installation need to be created.
This makes the mount well suited to new installations, electronics refits and helm locations where
there is not enough depth behind the panel for a traditional flush-mounted installation.
Adjustable Display Position
The mounting knobs on each side of the cradle allow the Garmin Signal unit to be tilted to suit the
operator’s position. The angle can be adjusted to improve touchscreen access and display visibility
from a seated or standing helm position.
The bail-mount design can also make the rear connections easier to reach during installation,
troubleshooting or future equipment changes.
