The AMEC JB-712 Junction Box provides the primary data and interface connection point for compatible AMEC Class A AIS transponders. Designed for commercial and professional marine installations, the JB-712 allows the AIS transponder to be cleanly integrated with vessel navigation equipment, sensors, external displays, alarm systems, and other bridge electronics.
The JB-712 connects to the Class A AIS transponder through AMEC's 37-pin data interface and provides convenient terminal connections for the various IEC 61162 / NMEA data and control interfaces required in a complete Class A AIS installation.
The AMEC JB-712 is an ideal replacement junction box for servicing an existing AMEC Class A AIS installation or for system integration where an additional OEM junction box is required.
