Icom IC-M510 PLUS EVO 41 VHF + NMEA 2000®
The Icom IC-M510 PLUS EVO 41 is a modern fixed-mount marine VHF that adds the feature set boaters
actually want in 2026: NMEA 2000® networking built-in (no external interface module required like the
original IC-M510), a bright color display, Class D DSC safety, and wireless smart-device control.
This is the non-AIS-receiver model. If you want the version with an integrated AIS receiver,
see the M510 PLUS EVO 51 (AIS).
Built-in NMEA 2000® + Loud Two-Way Hailer
The IC-M510 PLUS EVO connects directly to an NMEA 2000® backbone for plug-and-play data sharing with
compatible equipment (like an MFD). The radio can share GNSS position, DSC call information, and radio channel data
across the network.
It also supports a 25W two-way hailer and 20W RX hailer (with an optional compatible
speaker horn such as the SP-37) for crew calls, dock/bridge communications, and foghorn patterns.
Wireless Control + Intercom via Smart Devices
Use the RS-M500 app (iOS/Android) to wirelessly control the radio through the built-in WLAN feature.
You can use up to three smart devices as wireless microphones, intercom stations, and/or simple remotes.
Color Display + Award-Winning Design
The color TFT LCD offers a wide viewing angle with clear icons and characters, plus a night mode for low-light operation.
The IC-M510 series is also an iF DESIGN AWARD winner and looks right at home in modern glass-helm dashboards.
Install via panel mount or bracket mount depending on your helm layout.
Class D DSC Safety (Distress Calling)
The built-in Class D DSC system continuously monitors Channel 70 and supports one-touch distress calling.
In an emergency, that DISTRESS button can be a lifesaver—especially when paired with a properly configured MMSI.
AIS Display (With External AIS Only)
The EVO 41 does not include an internal AIS receiver, but it can still display AIS targets
when fed AIS data from an external AIS receiver or AIS transponder over NMEA 2000® or NMEA 0183.
You can also place an individual DSC call to a selected AIS target from the AIS screen.
If you want the integrated AIS receiver version, see the
M510 PLUS EVO 51 (AIS).
