The Garmin Signal lineup is Garmin’s next-generation marine VHF communication system, combining
modern touchscreen control, Class D DSC, advanced audio processing, integrated AIS capability and Garmin network
integration. The series includes the Signal VHF 400, Signal VHF 220,
Signal RM 100 remote station and related mounting, protection and speaker accessories.
The Signal VHF 400 combines a 25-watt marine VHF radio with a built-in 5-watt Class B SOTDMA AIS
transponder for AIS transmit and receive capability. The Signal VHF 220 offers the same modern
radio platform with built-in AIS reception for vessels that want AIS target awareness without transmitting their
own AIS position from the radio.
For multi-station installations, the Signal RM 100 provides remote VHF, DSC, AIS and intercom
control from a secondary helm, flybridge or pilothouse using Garmin BlueNet. Available accessories include the
retrofit kit, bail mount, protective cover and external speakers in black or white.
