The Garmin Signal External Speaker provides loud, clear audio from compatible Garmin Signal
marine VHF radios and remote stations. This marinized, full-range speaker delivers up to
15 watts RMS and features a shallow-mount design for flexible installation aboard your vessel.
This black Garmin Signal speaker is designed for use with the Garmin Signal VHF 400, VHF 220 and RM 100 remote
station. It is a practical add-on for helms, flybridges, pilothouses and other locations where additional VHF
radio audio is needed beyond the speaker built into the fist microphone.

Clear Audio from Your Garmin Signal VHF System
The Garmin Signal external speaker expands audio output from your compatible Garmin Signal marine VHF system.
With 15 watts RMS of continuous power handling, it provides strong, clear playback for radio calls, alerts,
intercom audio and other supported audio functions from the connected Garmin Signal radio or remote station.
This is especially useful in louder or more open operating areas where the built-in fist microphone speaker may
not provide enough volume on its own.
Shallow-Mount Marine Design
With a mounting-depth requirement of only 0.94 inches, this speaker can be installed in locations where space
behind the mounting surface is limited. The included surface-mount spacer provides an additional option when a
recessed installation is not preferred.
The IP65-rated design, polypropylene cone and rubber surround are built for the marine environment. The speaker
connects to compatible Garmin Signal equipment using spade connectors.

Installation Options
The speaker may be recessed into a suitable mounting surface or installed using the included surface-mount
spacer. Both a fabric grille and a traditional plastic grille are supplied so the finished installation can be
matched to the vessel’s helm, cabin or pilothouse layout.
Select a mounting location with adequate clearance behind the speaker and maintain the specified compass-safe
distance from magnetic compasses.
