This advanced VHF and AIS communications platform offers remote access for monitoring and control. Operators can check vessel status, receive alerts, send and receive voice transmissions, and remotely adjust squelch, channel selection, transmit power, and more.
Cortex Neuro’s proprietary VHF-over-IP protocol enables VHF voice communications over Ethernet. A remote operator can communicate with local marine traffic in the USV’s operating area.
The 5-watt Class B SOTDMA transceiver combines GPS, AIS, and heading data with smart logic to proactively warn of collision risks. AIS vessel information can be shared via Ethernet or the NMEA 2000® network. Heading data is also broadcast so other vessels can clearly identify your USV’s course.
A comprehensive SDK provides a straightforward path to integrate Cortex Neuro with your control system. Garmin engineering support is available to answer software questions and assist with implementation.
