This portable magnet-mount GPS antenna is designed to be used with AIS receivers and transponders that require a male SMA connector. This antenna has been tested and works well with:

Smart Radio SR162G AIS/GPS receiver
Vesper Marine XB-8000 Class B transponder
Vesper Marine WatchMate Vision XB-9000 Class B transponder

This antenna includes a 12 foot antenna cable.

Q: Can I buy a new SMA connector for my Vesper GPS antenna that got damaged during a new installation. I bought my Vesper XB 8000 from you about one year ago and I am just getting around to installing it now. If I cannot buy the SMA connector to splice onto the existing cable, can I buy a complete new spare GPS antenna that is normally sold with the XB 8000 AIS transponder?

A: We do not sell the SMA connectors for attachment to COAX. They tend to be very difficult to attach correctly. We do sell a number of GPS antennas and GPS/VHF antennas that have SMA connectors. For example with the the portable GPS Antenna with SMA connector and we also offer the original Vesper GPS Antenna for the XB series.
