Morad VHF antenna cable for AIS and VHF devices. These cables use 50 Ohm RG8X coax with PL259 connectors on each end.
Use with Dedicated or Shared AIS Antennas or between the AIS or VHF and Splitters.
The cable has a small FME connector on one end which is designed to facilitate easy routing through holes and conduits.
Includes a screw-on adapter with a standard PL259 that is used with all our AIS transponders, antennas, and splitters.
We offer a variety of lengths. Choose the option that meets your needs.

Antenna cable worked well fishing through tight areas. Good to have one PL259 that could be screwed on after being snaked through the boat. Reception is good on the radios and the AIS

Q:
The larger lengths of this cable include a description of "Mini-213" next to the cable lengths. What does this mean? Are the connectors different for the larger lengths than for the shorter lengths? Thanks.

A:
Hi Brian, Great question. Due to RF loss once we get to 50' we upgrade the cable from a RG8X to a Mini-213 cable. The Mini-213 is a higher performance cable that is better suited for the larger cable runs. The connectors (PL-259) provided are the same as what you would get with the RG8X.
