The SLR-200 is an AIS receive-only unit, designed specifically for the Small Commercial, Leisure, Fishing Boat and Vessel Monitoring Markets where vessels are currently not mandated to transmit AIS information. 
The SLR-200-GPS includes an integrated GPS receiver.

Connected to an on board PC running compatible software, or chartplotter, AIS data transmitted from ships can be displayed on the screen giving the skipper or navigator a visual interpretation of the traffic within VHF range.

Two AIS receivers monitor both AIS channels simultaneously
Like all Comar receivers, the SLR 200 is a true parallel AIS receiver, ensuring that you receive the most up to date positions and information of all vessels around you.

Connects to computer or chartplotter
The information can be displayed on screen giving the skipper or navigator a visual interpretation of the name, position, course and speed of vessels within VHF range.

Integrated NMEA multiplexer
Any NMEA input data at 4800 Baud can be connected into the unit, this is combined with the AIS data and will be output at 4800 or 38.4K, avoiding the requirement of installing an external multiplexer
