Reads all AIS Messages - Now and in the future!
The AIS-2-2000 reads and decodes all
the AIS messages available in the NMEA 2000 format today. As new AIS messages are added to NMEA 2000 such as AtoN messages not yet specified the AIS-2-2000 can be returned to Milltech Marine for free firmware updates. Two AIS receivers monitor both AIS channels simultaneously
uses two receivers operating in parallel providing true dual-channel simultaneous reception of both Class A and Class B transponder signals. This ensures that all AIS transponder broadcasts are captured in real time. NMEA 2000 Output
Easily integrate into a new or existing NMEA 2000 network. AIS targets, as well as all the static and dynamic information received, are displayed on any compatible NMEA 2000 Chartplotter or Radar.
|Sweet. Comar's new little dual band AIS receiver not only outputs NMEA 2000 but is powered off it. Could there be a simpler install?|
Powered by NMEA 2000
Easily install the AIS-2-2000 using included one-meter-long NMEA 2000 drop cable
The AIS-2-2000 requires a dedicated VHF antenna or can share the vessel's existing VHF antenna using the Comar ASR 100 Antenna Splitter
. The ASR 100 will ensure AIS reception and VHF reception simultaneously while prioritizing the VHF/DSC radio when transmitting.
Installation Note: If attaching VHF antenna with PL259 connector, you will need SO239 to BNC adapter
