Description

The AMEC CYPHO-101G combines dual-channel parallel AIS receivers with a full featured integrated GPS receiver.

The CYPHO-101G supports outputting both GPS and AIS NMEA sentences and connects to both RS422 chart plotters as well as RS232 and USB devices such as navigation computers. The USB port can also provide power to the unit if needed.

NOTE: We have lowered the price on this product and now sell the GPS antenna separately.

If you need a GPS antenna, please order the AMEC GPS Antenna as well.

Like all CYPHO receivers, it is certified IPX5 waterproof to provide extra protection against challenging marine environments. It has CE and FCC certification, and passed IEC 60945 tests.

Dual-channel parallel AIS receivers: The CYPHO-101G includes two AIS receivers operating in parallel providing true dual-channel simultaneous reception of both Class A and Class B transponder signals. This ensures that all AIS transponder broadcasts are captured in real time.
Use with dedicated antenna or splitter: Can be used with a dedicated VHF marine radio antenna or click here for information on using with one of our VHF antenna splitters. If you plan on using this AIS receiver with an antenna splitter then you will need a PL259 to BNC female adapter.
Viewer program included: The CYPHO-101G includes a free Windows-based AIS viewer program to display information about AIS targets.
USB Support: The CYPHO-101G products include USB drivers to allow AIS information to be passed to computer programs via a virtual COM port interface.

	AMEC CYPHO 101G
	Easy set p. Easy, seamless GPS integration. A bit confusing on start up if the start up screen states that AIS not detected. This means that currently there is not detected AIS signal in range. I initially thought it meant that the receiver was not connected though the USB port. All is good.
