Description

The AMEC CYPHO-101E AIS has a RS422 NMEA 0183 interface for easy and compatible connection to NMEA standard chart plotters from Raymarine, Garmin, Northstar, Lowrance, Simrad and others.

Like all CYPHO receivers, the 101E is IPX5 waterproof to provide extra protection against challenging marine environments. It is CE, FCC and IEC 60945 certified.

The CYPHO products are IPX5 waterproof certified to provide extra protection against challenging marine environments. The whole CYPHO-101 series has gained CE and FCC certification, and passed IEC 60945 tests.

KEY FEATURES

Dual-channel parallel AIS receivers
The CYPHO-101 includes two AIS receivers operating in parallel providing true dual-channel simultaneous reception of both Class A and Class B transponder signals. This ensures that all AIS transponder broadcasts are captured in real time. .

IPX5 Waterproof
Sealed connectors and front and back panel gaskets

Viewer program included
The CYPHO 101 includes a free Windows-based AIS viewer program to display Radar View and Alphanumeric information about AIS targets.

Versatile interface selection
NMEA 0183 (RS422) for connection to most chartplotters

ON/OFF switch
Front-mounted switch allows control from unit or from power breaker

Use with dedicated antenna or splitter
Can be used with a dedicated VHF marine radio antenna or click here for information on using with one of our VHF antenna splitters. If you plan on using this AIS receiver with an antenna splitter then you will need a PL259 to BNC female adapter
